NEW PROGRAM FOR EAAC!!
EAAC is currently accepting applications from families wishing to adopt from Ethiopia. It is possible to adopt very young children from Ethiopia, both boys and girls are available. It is also possible to adopt sibling groups. Only one trip is required to adopt from Ethiopia and the wait for referral is relatively short - presently under six months from the time your papers are filed in country.  At this time, singles may not adopt from Ethiopia. Many babies and very young children wait for their forever parents in Ethiopia. Sibling groups also wait to find a loving home.

EAAC has formed a partnership with Illien Adoptions International to provide our clients with an Ethiopia Adoption Program. Ethiopia is one of the few African countries which support intercountry adoption. As a part of working in Ethiopia, the government requires all US licensed adoption service providers to submit a humanitarian aid project which must be approved by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MOLSA) as a part of the in-country licensing requirements. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs is under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice. Illien Adoptions International, Inc. is licensed by MOLSA and recognized by the Ministry of Justice, registration #508/95.

Our adoption services include adoption home study, parent education, Illinois DCFS adoption requirements and US Immigration requirements for international adoption. EAAC has been licensed as an Illinois adoption agency since 1997.

Once the international adoption process is complete and your child has come home, EAAC remains a part of your family, helping you to complete the post adoption process and advising you of adoption resources available to you in Illinois.
